BBC: Fran Unsworth's questions and articles summary.

 QUESTIONS:
-do you think new media is affecting the news?

ARTICLES:

1. The article illustrates how BBC3 is now changing its platform from tv to online. it also provides evidence of popular people who condemn the closure of the programme. It recognises the idea that the youth are more online and have decided that the demographic group for BBC (17-34 year olds) are more likely to watch it online. It talks about having new content and new fresh ideas for BBC3 as it will keep the online audience interested.

2. The article talks about how hundred of jobs are being cut due to the £150 million shortfall of funding due to less people paying the license fee. The article talks about how times are changing and how they are having to cut back many jobs due to the fact of TV license funding. The payment BBC get is falling short than usual.the BBC are trying to protect their other television channels and radio stations which may be at risk soon.
